WhatIsMyIP.HELP is a minimalist online service designed to quickly — and most importantly, accurately — show your IP address on any device: computer, smartphone, tablet, or even a TV.

Who is it for and why?

Using this service, you can easily see your public IP address (IPv4 or IPv6). If you want to quickly understand what an IP address is, why it matters, and how other websites "see" it, you’ll find the answers in the "FAQ" section. The service is useful for everyday users as well as those wanting to check their anonymity when using VPNs, proxies, or Tor.

No unnecessary details or ads

We deliberately removed all unnecessary information so you get only what truly matters — your IP address and basic device info. For example, you won’t see pointless or inaccurate details about your exact coordinates, which are common on other similar sites. Many of those websites can't even reliably detect IPv4 and IPv6 addresses due to page caching or CDN interference, let alone pinpoint your precise location. Moreover, most of those sites are overloaded with ads, distracting you and delaying access to essential information.

Anonymity is more than just an IP

For those concerned about privacy, remember: your IP address alone doesn't guarantee anonymity. Factors like your timezone, browser language, device fingerprint, and other technical details can reveal far more about you than just your IP.

Accuracy and privacy

It’s important to understand that location coordinates based on IP addresses are typically inaccurate or outdated. In reality, only your internet provider — whose network your device is connected to — can precisely determine your current location based on IP. The exception is when you explicitly allow location sharing through a website or app. Location information limited to country or city is usually more accurate and up-to-date.
